With tax season behind us, you may be waiting for a refund check or have already received one. If you’re considering what to do with it, why not invest it back into you? With a smile makeover from Highland Advanced Dental Care, you can improve not only your smile but also your confidence and even your overall oral health.

We don’t always use the term “smile makeover” because it can create a misconception that we only care about the way your smile looks. When you consider our practice slogan, “the natural beauty of a healthy smile,” you’ll understand that every treatment we do results in both beauty and improved health.

Put your treatment into the capable hands of a dentist who has been transforming smiles for over 35 years. Not only that, but Dr. LoCascio has treated over 75,000 patients in his time as a cosmetic dentist! He’s seen everything and can come up with a comprehensive plan that will get your smile looking and feeling just the way you’ve dreamed of.

We’ll Work With Your Budget

We have all sorts of cosmetic dental treatments that range in fees. However, you can be sure that no matter what your treatment costs, we never skimp on any part whatsoever. We choose natural-looking, quality materials that have been proven, and we’ve invested in the techniques and technology to ensure your treatment lasts as long as possible – and looks as good as possible. Our patients appreciate that they don’t have to keep coming back for work, since we do it right the first time.

That said, you may need to space out your treatments depending on what your makeover consists of and how much it costs. You don’t have to do everything at one time. We can work it out so that you can afford the smile you deserve. That’s why we offer:

  • Insurance for some treatments (we’ll run a complimentary check, as not all plans cover specific cosmetic dental work)
  • Credit cards
  • CareCredit financing – in some cases, with no interest!

Ask us about your options during your consultation. And if you’ve never seen us before, you can get to know us and find out if you have any preliminary issues that need to be addressed first with a $49 new patient exam.

Your Cosmetic Dental Makeover Options

Because Dr. LoCascio wants to help people with all aspects of their smile, he has sought the advanced training to offer a wide range of treatments, more than what you’d find at the typical dental office. Here are a few you and Dr. LoCascio may consider for your smile:

Teeth whitening

One whitening treatment can go a long way to making your smile look more pleasing to the eye. If you think about any great smile, whether on someone you know or a celebrity, chances are it’s bright. According to research, a bright smile can make you look younger, more confident, wealthier, and more attractive overall. It’s a small investment that pays big, but without any permanent commitment.

Many patients do this as a first step for their makeover. If they want veneers, then we can match their veneers to their newer, brighter smile.

Dental veneers

For some people, veneers alone can correct and conceal every smile flaw. That’s because they cover the front surfaces of your teeth and hide everything beneath. That includes:

  • Stains
  • Gaps
  • Chips and cracks
  • Misshapen teeth
  • Teeth that are too short
  • Teeth with any irregularities

Dr. LoCascio considers the desired color, shape, and size of each veneer, so they will look completely natural – but much better than what your smile looks like now.

Veneers are also a great way to restore teeth that have suffered mild damage, like cracks. You can preserve your tooth with the strong shell over it, and you can minimize further damage in the future.

Short-term orthodontics

A straight smile can make a white smile look even better. That’s why we offer adult orthodontics that are specially designed with adult patients in mind. Our ClearCorrect aligners make straightening your teeth easier because you:

  • Don’t have to worry about metal showing in your mouth and looking like a teenager
  • Don’t have to have the discomfort associated with metal parts in your mouth
  • Don’t have to get food stuck in braces – just take out the clear aligners before you eat
  • Don’t have to limit your diet since the aligners are removable
  • Don’t have to constantly take off work to come to our office for adjustments
  • Don’t have to spend two to three years in braces; most cases take months

Gum therapy

If you have a gummy smile – where too much gum shows and not enough of your teeth – or gum recession – where too much tooth shows and not enough gums – Dr. LoCascio is specially trained to help with either case.

Gum recession, often a result of gum disease, usually requires a surgical procedure with scalpels and sutures. However, Dr. LoCascio offers a “lunchtime gum lift” that uses a special technique without the scalpels and stitches. He trained under the inventor of the Chao Pinhole Surgical Technique to offer this comfortable alternative to our patients. In fact, he was one of the first general dentists in Michigan certified to perform this technique, so you can trust that he knows the procedure better than most offices around.

Repairing receding gums can eliminate tooth root sensitivity since it will help cover your tooth roots. It can also make gum disease and cavities less likely.

Tooth bonding

This is an alternative to veneers in some cases. It uses the same material as tooth-colored fillings to cover cracks, chips, stains, and more, so it also helps improve your tooth structure. However, it does not last as long as veneers, which can last up to two decades for patients who take care of their teeth. It’s also not stain-resistant like veneers are.

Many patients use bonding as a “stepping stone” to test out what they want veneers to fix. If you have other cosmetic procedures done, however, this could be a good option for minor repairs. It usually takes one office visit and is fairly affordable. Ask us whether bonding or veneers is right for your flaws.

Tooth contouring

There are some dental oddities that can throw off the entire look of your smile. That might include teeth that are too long or too pointy, or that have cracks on the edges. For these situations, Dr. LoCascio can gently smooth the tooth edges and recontour your tooth. It often takes minutes, but this subtle treatment can make a big difference in achieving that perfectly balanced smile.

How Will You Invest In Yourself?

A smile makeover can be a great investment that pays dividends for life. Our patients report that having a smile they’re actually proud to show makes them more confident in talking to people and socializing. Some have even sought out careers and relationships because of their newly found confidence in their appearance. Could that be you?

Consider all the advantages of a beautiful smile. A smile makeover from Dr. LoCascio can make that happen, and the results aren’t temporary like a vacation or new item for your house.
