Choose From a Variety of Options to Get Your Smile Back

Whether you need to repair a single tooth or replace several missing teeth, our experienced dental team can help. Below are some of the options available to help you smile with confidence again:
● Dental Crowns – A natural-looking porcelain crown will repair your diseased or damaged tooth. It seals snugly over the tooth to make it both beautiful and strong. We use durable BruxZir® crowns that will fit perfectly and blend in naturally with your smile.● Dental Bridges – A bridge is a replacement tooth or teeth crafted especially for your mouth, held in place by dental crowns on the teeth on either side of the gap.● Implant-Supported Bridges – This kind of bridge is anchored by two or more dental implants topped with crowns. You get incredible strength and durability while replacing several teeth at once. Plus, the implants help prevent jawbone loss, a common side effect of missing teeth.
You can get back a bright, white smile!

Common Questions About Dental Crowns & Bridges

  • Are dental crowns permanent?

The longevity of crowns is affected by many factors, including where they are located in your mouth. With proper oral hygiene, a crown should last at least five years. In many cases, they last 10 years or even longer. We use BruxZir® crowns, which are made of a beautiful and highly durable material. They can withstand even heavy chewing pressure better than porcelain crowns.

  • Will my insurance cover dental crowns?

Insurance often pays for at least part of the cost of a dental crown. That’s because a crown is most often used to strengthen a weak tooth or repair damage such as a crack or break. If a crown is used for a strictly cosmetic purpose, such as hiding a stained or misshapen tooth, it may not be covered by insurance.

  • How does a dental bridge work?

You can guess the purpose of a bridge based on its name. A bridge fills a gap in your smile left by one or more missing teeth with replacement teeth called pontics. We usually anchor a bridge with crowns that Dr. LoCascio attaches to the teeth on either side of the gap. However, to avoid the need to modify healthy teeth, he can instead use dental implants to support a bridge.

  • How long do dental crowns and bridges last?

The average dental crown or bridge will last for approximately five to seven years, although your restoration may give you great performance for 10 years or longer if you maintain good oral hygiene and avoid eating foods that compromise it. We’ll be happy to provide you instructions on how to keep your crown or bridge fully functional for as long as possible.
