Benefit From the Latest Technologies & Treatments
We use some of the latest dental technology at Highland Advanced Dental Care. Our VELscope system can detect signs of oral cancer not normally visible. With our 3D scanning technology, we can make dental crowns that fit perfectly and look beautiful. We also offer digital X-rays, which provide a more precise image of your teeth with much less radiation.
Along with the modern technology comes modern training. Dr. LoCascio was the first general dentist in Michigan to be certified in the Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique, a gum recession treatment that is much less invasive and time-consuming than traditional methods. He is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He has also taken courses in advanced restorative dentistry (including TMJ and bite issues) from the Pankey Institute for Continuing Dental Education.
We also give one of the most thorough and complete dental exams in Michigan, because we know how early detection can make things much better for your health and your wallet. If you’re a new patient, take advantage of our offer for a $49 exam and cleaning, complete with X-rays and a personalized treatment plan.

Common Questions From Our Patients
Yes, we can! Using a custom oral appliance, we can treat your sleep apnea symptoms and help you avoid having to use a bulky CPAP machine. We’ll work with your physician to diagnose your sleep apnea, then we can make your new oral appliance right here in our office. It will gently reposition your jaw to keep your airway open all night. You’ll sleep better, wake up feeling more refreshed, and lessen your risk of serious health consequences.
Periodontal disease is caused by the same bacteria that leads to cavities. When bacteria gets under your gums, it causes irritation that makes your gums red and tender and prone to bleeding after brushing or flossing. Left untreated, periodontal disease can affect your supporting bone and make your teeth fall out. We can eliminate bacteria with a scaling and root planing treatment. We also use the Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique, a less invasive method of correcting gum recession than traditional gum surgery.
We’re proud to provide our patients a number of dentures options, including conventional full dentures, partial dentures, implant-retained dentures, implant-supported dentures, and temporary dentures. We’ll be happy to discuss all these choices in detail so you can decide which one will work best for your situation.
