Can a dentist help with my sleep apnea?
Yes, we can! Using a custom oral appliance, we can treat your sleep apnea symptoms and help you avoid having to use a bulky CPAP machine. We’ll work with your physician to diagnose your sleep apnea, then we can make your new oral appliance right here in our office. It will gently reposition your jaw to keep your airway open all night. You’ll sleep better, wake up feeling more refreshed, and lessen your risk of serious health consequences.
What is periodontal disease?
Periodontal disease is caused by the same bacteria that leads to cavities. When bacteria gets under your gums, it makes them red, tender, and prone to bleeding after brushing or flossing. Left untreated, periodontal disease can affect your supporting bone and even make your teeth fall out. We can eliminate bacteria with a scaling and root planing treatment. If your gums have receded from gum disease, we can also perform the Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique, a less invasive method of correcting gum recession than traditional gum surgery.
What kind of dentures do you offer?
We’re proud to provide our patients several dentures options, including conventional full dentures, partial dentures, implant-retained dentures, implant-supported dentures, and temporary dentures. We’ll be happy to discuss all these choices in detail so you can decide which one will work best for your situation.
